Orange Shirt Day: September 29

Please consider wearing orange on Friday, September 29 to acknowledge the legacy of residential schools in Canada and to honour the survivors.

You can purchase your own orange shirt from the Aboriginal Student Council: pre-order your shirt by stopping by A119 or calling 519-542-7751, extension 3494.

You can also stop by the information table outside the cafeteria on Friday, September 29 to learn more about the history of residential schools in this country.

Proceeds from shirt sales will support this year's Round Dance and Pow Wow--check back for more information on both events.

If you'd like to learn more about the history of orange shirt day, please visit this site: http://www.orangeshirtday.org/

Smile for the Food Bank

You can buy a smile cookie today at Tim Horton's (on campus or off) for $1 and enjoy a delicious cookie while knowing you're supporting our local food bank.

Our food bank right here on campus can always use support, too. It's moved to SAC this year, and we have dreams of making it bigger and better than ever. Donations are always welcome. (Things like taco kits, peanut butter, and instant oatmeal are always in demand.)

If you'd like to know more, stop by SAC or email us: socialjusticelambton@gmail.com
